A Brief Welcome to My Site

Welcome  to ergonomiclaptops.com

Who am I?

I’m Daniel, and I am a passionate and enthusiastic computer geek. I have been dealing with computer repair and software installation for more than 15 years. I was studying electronic engineering in the beginning of my college years and then I realized I loved teaching; so I decided to switch career and now I’m a high school teacher. I’ve been teaching for more than 20 years and I still love my career. There are two things I cannot live without. First, my computer toolbox, and second, my piano, because I love classical and instrumental music.

Why I created this website?

The reason I decided to create this website was to help computer users be more and better informed about the things we need to know before buying a portable computer. Some of my friends and relatives showed me their new laptop purchase and after looking into the hardware and software of their devices I got very disappointed. If they had had at least some basic knowledge about computer technology, they would have made a better purchase decision for the same price they paid or even for less. But unfortunately they didn’t know anything about computer so they had to believe and buy what other people said. Ultimately, they were not happy with their devices

For this and other reasons I’ve created this site, to help other people avoid this kind of mistakes at the time of buying a notebook laptop. If you’re not well-informed about computer hardware and software, before you choose and pay for a particular laptop I invite you to read the information you need on this site, so you can be ready to shop your next laptop computer and be happy about your purchase.

What are my website goals?

I want to accomplish a few important goals through Ergonomic Laptops

    Hi Daniel,
I read your post about connecting a laptop to a smart TV. It is a helpful article.
We don’t have a smart TV (yet) but we can use an HDMI cable to connect my laptop to the TV. It’s 1080p TV but it is not a smart TV.
My question is, say we have a smart TV and our laptop has a virus, will the TV get the virus too or not once we connect them?
    Thank you for your response.

      Hi, Ferra
It is possible for a smart TV to get a virus if using an infected USB drive for example, but the possibilities are very low.
If you don’t have a smart TV, or you are using an HDMI cable to screen mirror your laptop, then there’s nothing to worry about.
      Thank you for your question

Thank you for the useful information your site provided! I was mainly interested in your overview of the 2-in-1 laptops. Now I know what to look for when shopping for one of those. Really appreciated 🙂
